Thanks a lot to British School of Kuwait for inviting the KUWAIT UPTO DATE on their Annual Carnival 2013. It been a wonderful event for the entire community in Kuwait. This Carnival had the widest range of extra curricular activities in Kuwait on offer. These includes courses from the British Academy of International Arts (BAIA) in Ballet, hop hop, tap dance, speech, theatre, fashion, art and design and music. Courses at The British Academy of sports include Gymnastics, football, karate, basketball, swimming, Thai Boxing, Zumba, Roller Balding and volleyball. many of the BAIA courses are accredited and students can take examinations in RAD Ballet, LAMDA theatre and speech, ABRSM music, BTEC Fashion, ISTD modern Dance and BBO tap dance.

On Saturday 14 September the largest community programme of activities for children and adults in Kuwait will be launched at a Welcome to Kuwait Carnival at the BSK campus in Salwa. This unique event will consist of an Exhibition of booths and events under the title of LIKE ( Life in Kuwait for Everyone) where newcomers to Kuwait can get information on products and services which they need as they settle into a new country. At the same time they can register their children for artistic and sporting activities run by The British Academy of Sport (BAS) and The British Academy of International Arts (BAIA). These activities include ballet, dance, theatre, speech, fashion, etiquette, art, cuisine, football, swimming, gymnastics, karate, roller skating, zumba, volleyball, basketball, tennis, Thai Boxing and much much more.
The British Academy of International Arts (BAIA) and The British Academy of Sports (BAS) launched its 2013 programme of extra curricular activities at the BSK campus on a bright sunny saturday morning with a new year’s welcome for old andnew faces. The event was opened by the American Ambassador Mr. Matthew Thueller who toured the campus with owner of Madame Vera Al-Mutawa. In a wonderful carnival atmosphere of fun and enjoyment the focus was on healthy diet and lifestyle with Dasman Diabetes Center and the Kuwait Heart Foundation on hand to test cholestrol and sufar levels. Linas and Dinas Diet Center were on hand to advise on healthy diets. Fantasy World, Fitness for fun and Go Sport were offerning lots of sporting challeneges. Entertaiment was provided by Balloonyland with their stunning Magic Show while cameo performances from the stars of forthcoming BAIA rock musical WE WILL ROCK YOU were drawing in the crowds and ofcourse no carnival was complete without a trampoline and a bouncy castle. The BSK campus in salwa was heaving with parents and childrensfrom all over the Kuwait as they took part in a Carnival Day filled with demonstrations, games, performances, gifts and prizes from an array of stalls and stands in his premier event for extra circullar activities operated by British International. In the marble Arch arena a car boot sale was taking place with lots of customers getting those new year bargains. BAIA runs courses in dance, theatre, speech, music, art, fashion, design and cuisine. BAS courses include Cricket, Basketball, Gymnastics, Roller skating, Badmintons, Football, swimming, karate and Tennis. Accredited courses in LAMDA, RAD, ISTD, BTEC run alongside leisure courses with levels of abilities for all ages. Staff at the well as encouraging the visitors to make new friends and try out some of the thrills and spills on offer. This is the twentieth year of this highly popular and unique programme of academic and leisure courses which courses in LAMDA, RAD, ISTD, BREC run alongside leisure courses beased on the world famous Loughborough university Model. Staff at the arious stands were busy answering queries and taking registrations as well as encouraging the visitors to make new friends and try out some of the thrills and spills on offer sponsors included Move One, Rauch, Cozmo, Fot for Fun, Nasser Sports Center and pro Sports Cricket Academy.
