Cold Wave To Continue

Temperatures dropped to below zero in several regions of the country at dawn on Saturday, according to national meteorological centers.

In Al -Salmi, west of Kuwait City, the temperature dropped to 0-1 degrees, the lowest that has been reported in the country since being gripped with biting cold recently.

Record fall to zero was reported in various region, such as Ubroq Al -Habari, Jal Al -Liah, Al -Abdali and Al -Matrabah.

The main meteorological station at the airport reported that the heat level in Al -Jahraa fell to 3 degree C. Wave of biting cold is forecast to continue gripping Kuwait in the coming days, with the maximum temperature expected to be 12 degrees centigrade in the airport region at mid -day times.
