Peace One Day , First time in Kuwait.

(KUWAIT UPTO DATE in support of PEACE ONE DAY with CAP)

On the 21st of September 2012, the day of international peace approved by the United Nations, CAP are bringing, for the first time, Peace One Day to Kuwait, to raise awareness of peace in the region and to create a local unity that can ripple out onto a global unity for peace. The Art Salon, an art movement of composed of artists & designers & musicians of all nationalities that live & work in Kuwait, is hosting “Peace One Day – Global Truce” in Kuwait for the first time, by having an art exhibition to honor global peace. Join us if you support global peace. Children are welcome. We want them to grow up understanding & supporting peace.

Schedule:
5:50pm – Introductions
6:00pm – Kuwait Riders & Venetian Riders will enter and preform.
6:15pm – Release of the Pigeons.
6:20pm – Puppet show by Dalia Al-Hadi.
6:30pm – Hassan Karam (saxophone and violin)
7:00pm till 7:15pm – Poetry from the LOYAC volunteers.
7:15pm – Puppet show by Dalia Al-Hadi.
7:30pm – Abdullatif From Loyac (violin)
8:00pm till 8:30pm – Basil Al-Hadi Karrouhat band.
9:00pm – Hassan karam from Loyac (saxophone)
9:15pm – Open band
Art sales will be going on throughout the event.

Masjid al Kabir is the national mosque of Kuwait. The Grand Masjid is the largest masjid in the country of Kuwait. This mosque is an example of different traditional Islamic architectural styles using modern construction technology. Its area spans 45,000 square meters, out of which the building itself covers 20,000 square meters .

Construction on the mosque started in 1979, and the masjid was completed in 1986 at a cost of about KD 14 million. It has become one of Kuwait’s most treasured landmarks.

Grand Mosque is popular for it’s prayer arrangment during the last 10 days of ramadan. Thousands of muslims gather during last 10 days of ramadan.

World Freestyle Football Day , Kuwait .

As per WORLD FREESTYLE FOOTBALL FEDERATION, (http://freestylefootball.org/) they has declared The 1st September as FREESTYLE FOORBALL DAY.

In this regard Kuwait Football Freestyle have been working on this to make it a big event here in kuwait too! , but unfortunately , They didn’t get the confirmation to make the event in big malls or public, privet – good – places .. anyway, about the event tomorrow :

* place : Marina crescent same as RBSS 2012 place
* time : after al asr prayer.

All freestylers and friends are asked to be there between 4-5 there might be a registration for a small competition .. and there might be a performances from the best of Kuwait football freestylers . Don’t miss it.
