Two reasons of deportation
As per Arabtimes, He made the disclosure at the launch of GCC Traffic Week and added that expatriates are currently deported on two major violations; driving without license and providing private transport.
He noted the ministry has since opened its doors to receive complaints from the general public, and the penalty of deportation is codified against any person proven to have committed any of the above-mentioned violations.
Assistant Undersecretary for Traffic Affairs Major General Abdullah Al-Mehanna affirmed that draft law has been completed and referred to the Fatwa and Legislation Department and Land Transport Authority to toughen penalties for traffic violations, while the mechanism of raising traffic tariffs is still under study.
