28 women set to be repatriated soon in Kuwait
Following the bombardment of questions from the Malawian parliament to that country’s foreign minister,
the latter has announced that necessary amount will be allocated for the repatriation of Malawian women who were abused, mistreated and tortured in Kuwait, reports Al-Rai daily.
According to a report published by the Malawian press, 28 Malawian women will return to their country as soon as possible.
However, most of them are without passports as they were confiscated by unknown people. Meanwhile, a spokesman of the country’s Interior Ministry affirmed that the Malawian government is working hand in hand with the concerned authorities in Kuwait for rescuing the victims.
