Huobi Chain : Vote today !! Be the part of History

Huobi Group is a world-leading cryptocurrency financial services provider. It was founded in 2013, with a mission to make the financial industry more efficient, and to make wealth more accessible to everyone. Currently based out of Singapore and with footprints in United States, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, and it services customers over 130 countries across the globe.
In order to take the next step from being just an exchange into a full-fledged blockchain financial service provider, Huobi started its ambitious re-branding and international brand launch of the Huobi Group on June 6th, 2018. In the same venue Huobi Chain Project was unveiled.
The Huobi Chain Project aims to provide individuals and organizations with financial independence and tools for fundraising, secularization and more. Once the HCP is completed, Huobi will be transforming itself from a Centralized corporation to a decentralized one.
Speaking behind the vision of Huobi Chain, Mr. Leon Li Founder and CEO of Huobi Group expressed,
We firmly believe in a decentralized future, and the main goal of the Huobi Chain project is to transform a centralized corporation to a decentralized one that’s run by the community,Our dream is for Huobi to run on the public blockchain and become a truly decentralized autonomous organization.” .
In order to make this ambitious project a reality, the project was divided into various milestones. The first phase being the recruitment of a global leader to lead the development of the Huobi Chain project. The program was termed as Huobi Chain Superhero Championship Program (HCSCP) .

For HCSCP, Selected Global Leader’s job responsibility was laid out as
• Report to the Council on a needed basis
• Organize, Develop and Manage the Huobi Chain Project
• Design/lead all aspect of Huobi Public Chain
• Plan on spending the allocated 30 million HT fund with Council approval
• Recruitment of HPC team
• Perform other functions and powers conferred by the Council.
In order to discharge the above-said responsibilities, Qualifications for the leader to be selected was set as
• Extensive experience in the Blockchain field in a Top Leading Role
• Management and Technical experience to lead an R&D Team
The position was opened to anyone qualified. All the received candidature was vigorously screened by the advisory team. Eligible candidates were put on for an Open Vote for the first phase which began on July 20th.

What makes Huobi Chain Superhero Championship Program (HCSCP)  different from others is the opportunity it is giving to the community to be the part of this ambitious project. Keeping true to the spirit of having a decentralized ecosystem it is giving the option to the community to select their own leader by the form of the voting system. The Voting Phase is spread in three rounds
• The first round of voting will end on August 20. Apart from top 30 candidate, all others will be eliminated for next round of voting
• For the second round, Top 5 will be selected for last round. The second round ends on Sept 10
• The final round featuring the 5 final candidates will end on 28th September. On the evening of September 28, A grant Gala program termed as Huobi Chain Superhero Championship Program Gala is conducted where all the 5 candidates will have a face-to-face debate.
The candidate who has the highest final score on that day will be the winner. Final calculation takes account into total no of votes received as well as Advisory Opinion Multiplier . If the final score of multiple candidates is the same, the candidate with the most votes wins
In the first round, there are around 148 candidates trying to find their place in the top 30. Anyone that wants to take part in Huobi Chain leader can formally announce its candidacy and join the first round of voting. The last date of the first round, as well as the first round, is the 20th of August.

Let’s have a looks at two candidates, which I personally feel deserve a shot for the top post.
Haobo Ma ( Founder CEO of AELF )

Currently ranked at 6th position with 11014945 votes, I feel he is one of the ideal candidates for the top post due to the vast exposure he is having in almost the similar role. He is the founder and CEO of Aelf which is a decentralized Cloud Computing Blockchain Network. Aelf is first of the kind blockchain which solved three weakness of existing blockchain project
• scalability
• resource segregation,
• adaptable governance model.
He is also the CEO of Beijing Hoopox Information Science & Technology Co as well as Ex CTO of Gempay and AllCoin. In the past Ma Haobo, has developed a Crypto exchange, crypto payment system and Blockchain system as well. He has recently won 2018 Annual BlockChain CEO Award by People’s Daily Venture Capital and 31 District, which is considered to be a top rated award in blockchain world.
Mr. Ma Haobo is also part of advisory panel of various blockchain project like Theta Blockchain Advisory Council and also a member of Blockchain Experts Committee at Chinese Institute of Electronics.
As discussed earlier one of the major responsibility of Huobi Chain leader is to allocate 30 Million HT fund for the development of Huobi chain ecosystem. In his initial days Ma Haobo has raised USD4.3 million for his firm Hoopox which he later on used to recruit and build public network blockchain system called Grid which was renamed as Aelf. This is why i feel he has experience, expertise as well as trust from industry to carry out the job

Xinshu Dong,CEO at Zilliqa

Zilliqa is one of my favorite project for the year 2018. This was the project that caught the eye of blockchain world by successfully implementing groundbreaking concept of sharding (the concept of dividing the network in several smaller network which process transaction in parallel) and the man leading the team behind it Mr.Xinshu Dong
Xinshu Dong has done his PhD from Top rated National University of Singapore. Prior to joining Zilliqa he was a researcher in Advanced Digital Sciences Center as well as senior research fellow with NUS. His interest is in the field of cyber-security for different systems and platforms.
I believe Mr Xinshu Don has all the capabilities to the the leader of Huobi Project, He has already proved his worth by making Zilliqa a successful project for year 2018.
This is the first time community is getting a chance to be part of the change. In future if this social experiment turns out to be successful we can see other projects follow the same step. All you have to do is Vote and be the part of the change
