Three Kuwaiti citizens have been infected with the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), totaling the number of confirmed cases in the country to eight so far, the Ministry of Health announced Tuesday. In a statement to KUNA, the ministry said that the new cases were in Iran and are currently under compulsory quarantine.
All of them are in good health, cut-off in isolation at a hospital prepared and equipped to deal with the emerging COVID-19.
The Ministry of Interior confirmed that it will take strict legal action against those who spread rumors about the spread of coronavirus in Kuwait.
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation on Monday suspended all flights to and from South Korea, Thailand and Italy due to the new coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
