Coronavirus Test for Expats in Kuwait
Ministry of Health received Kuwait International Fairground in the presence of representatives of the Ministry of Finance, in preparation for setting up a center to conduct coronavirus test for expats in Kuwait.
The Ministry of Health was represented by the Assistant Undersecretary for Services Affairs Abdulaziz Al-Tasha and the Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Development Affairs Dr. Falah Al-Azmi, Public Relations and Information Khaled Al-Ardi, while the Ministry of Finance was represented by the Assistant Undersecretary for Public Services Affairs Adel Al-Mannai and Director of the General Hospitality and Conferences Department Badr Al-Salal. The Ministry of Health calls upon all expatriates that have arrived from travel on the 27th of February 2020 and thereafter, to visit the ministry’s new headquarters for following up on the precautionary measures being undertaken currently. Visits are to be arranged according to the registered address on the civil i.d. and as per the below schedule:
- Thursday (12th March): residents of Al Jahra governorate
- Friday (13th March): residents of Mubarrak AI Kabeer governorate
- Saturday (14th March): residents of Farwaniya governorate
- Sunday (15th March): residents of Hawally governorate
- Monday (16th March): residents of Ahmadi governorate
- Tuesday (17th March): residents of the Capital (Al Asima) governorate

Working hours: 8am 6pm
Note: expatriates must bring their civil ids and passports. Please be advised that attendance is compulsory by penalty of law.
The Ministry of Health has invited expats from 23 countries, who arrived into Kuwait from 27th Feb to 11th Mar for medical checkup at Kuwait International Fairgrounds in Mishrief to take precautionary measures against spread of corona virus (COVID 19) from 12th March onwards until next Tuesday.<br>Sources said that medical checks will begin with those who arrived from Egyptian, Lebanon and Syria and their nationalities classified in the health monitoring list and others from 23 countries will be subjected to home quarantine.
