MOH launches medicine delivery service

The Ministry of Health will start tomorrow on Sunday, in coordination with the Fire Department, home delivery service of medicines to patients from all public hospitals and specialized centers in the country .

The Ministry stated that this is done by phone call or sending a message through the WhatsApp to the pharmacay of the hospital or the specialized center in the morning, where the patient’s medical file is located it will be reviewed and crosschecked via WhatsApp the name and the civil number File number, home address, and phone number along with the medicine list.

The second step is verify the data and the pharmacist prepares drugs/medicines as per the prescriptions after reviewing medicines for chronic diseases during the morning period according to the patient’s patient history and the last prescription in the file.

The third step is delivering medicines to the patient within 72 hours and making sure the patient is at home to provide pharmaceutical advice and guidance and answer patient questions.
