Break Time in pool on 15th floor above the sea – Rotana Kuwait
On weekend I got a phone call to take breath 🙂 yes, it was an offer to take break time in Al Manshar Rotana . Well, Its true that after a long hard day the most calm full place is your bed only in home sweet home whether it is just a mattress on floor or a royal bed. Al Manshar Rotana is situated in Fahaheel (South Kuwait) in front of Heart of Fahaheel, Al Kout Mall, 25 minutes away from Kuwait Airport and 45 Minutes from Saudi Arabia. Me and most of the readers are not royal but trust me from the first step in Rotana you will be treated as royal by a luxurious welcome in traditional Arabian style & hospitality.
They say that First Impression is a last Impression, I believe the lobby of any hotel is counted as heart of the hotel as start and end of your delighted memories while staying. The lobby of Rotana is quite big embody a net café and Lobby Café, The Library lounge is the trendy place to gather for afternoon coffee with friends or after shopping, offering light snacks and desserts, and variety of selected fine tea from around the world with daily live entertainment. You can also enjoy a high-speed WiFi Internet.
After check in, my baggage was on the way to my room with Mr. Anand (Thanks Anand for your company in the elevator) but I decided to go straight to rooftop to enjoy the view of the sea and the city. It’s part of my routine to stand on top of Marine Tower of Al Kout Mall to enjoy the sea + huge ships in queue + oil & gas companies +flaming pols above the Mina Ahmedi in one sight from the height but this time I was excited to have same view from more height and impressed to found the health and fitness centre called BodyLines affords a relaxing massage, full body and face treatment, steam room and sauna as well as temperature controlled pool with “Bay View” provide cocktails and snacks by the pool.
After a fresh air and little gym I moved to “Failaka Restaurant” to make my belly happy 🙂 it is an All Day Dining Restaurant offering different kind of theme nights together with an array of International buffet. After a short introduction of the restaurant and the theme of the evening by the Chef explaining that they have divided the classical dishes and menus as per days to provide a quality and desire taste in required environment. Like:
Italian Night Every Sunday: Italian dishes prepared with fresh ingredients.
Seafood Night Every Tuesday: Lobster, Crabs, Prawns and many more.
Family Brunch Every Friday: Delicious food with a kids corner with lot of kids activities. (For more information call on 23931000)
After a little food, while moving to room I passed by Conference Hall named Al Kout Ballrooms, they provide meeting and events facilities. It takes up to 200 guests with audio & video equipments and a prayer room beside.
Now I am in the room in fact I must say that it was kind of mini flat with complete modern and excellent facilities as you can see in photos by excellent swift services on time. The Al Manshar Rotana has 200 rooms and suites with city and sea view with the most luxury comfort. All rooms are equipped with kitchenette and many more facilities like IP phone, lighting control by a touch pad beside bed, refrigerator full of beverages 🙂 , LED TVs on both hall and bedroom, WIFI/LAN, digital locker and the most important is the sunrise view .
