Iris scanners replace fingerprint machines at the airport
The Kuwait International Airport has replaced the fingerprint machines at the airport with iris scanners to run a check on travelers to prevent the transmission of the coronavirus disease, reports Al-Rai daily. The source pointed this has been done in coordination with the Ministry of Health to ensure the safety of travelers. However, the source said this does not mean passengers can escape from their data being checked such as to verify the identity and if there is a traveler ban on the concerned passenger.
