Coronavirus cases in Kuwait as of 20.05.2020
The Kuwait Ministry of Health announced 804 new coronavirus (COVID-19) infections in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 17,568, while 3 deaths were reported as well bringing the fatalities’ toll up to 124.
In the daily press briefing, Health Ministry spokesperson Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said that 167 patients were in intensive care.
The cases of infection are related to those who came in contact are: 261 Indians, 170 Kuwaitis, 140 Egyptians and 67 Bangladeshis and the rest of cases from other nationalities –
Health areas: 339 in Farwaniya, 207 in Ahmadi, 126 in Hawally, 86 in Jahra, 46 in the capital. Residential areas: Farwaniya 108, Khaitan 71, Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh 66 , Hawally 47
Earlier Ministry of Health reported that 204 infected persons were recovered bringing the total to 4,885
