Let’s Go Forward North Desert Run S1

The Let’s Go Forward North Desert Run is a 10K Run and a 5K Run
When? 7th of February 2015
Day/Date: Saturday, 7th of February 2015
Location: Northern desert of Kuwait, Parallel to Road 80.
Starting Time of Runs:
Both the 10k Run and the 5k Run will start at 8:30 AM
Terrain:
On hard sand, and some soft sand areas, you will not run on pavement during the whole course of this run.
Location and Route:
The race will be held parallel to road 80 at the northern desert of Kuwait as shown on map. Exact route will be provided within 1 month prior to the event.
Check Points CP:
Check points with water stations will be available during the whole route of the event as follows:
CP 1: At Kilometer 1.5
CP2: At Kilometer 2.5 (U-Turn point of the 5K Run)
CP3: At Kilometer 3.5
CP 4: At Kilometer 5 (U-Turn point of the 10k Run)
Runs and Categories:
10k Run: Male and Female Category.
5k Run: Everyone, both genders.
Bibs and Runners Goody Bag Collection Day
Day/Date: Thursday the 5th of February 2015
Time: From 2PM to 9PM
Location: Forward Center, Located at the Free Trade Zone. click [here] for address
You are required to show a printed ticket and ID upon the collection of the running bib and the goody bag.
Timing System
The 10k Run will be timed through a chip attached to your running bib, so you will get your race finish time posted on this page within 48 hours after the event.
The 5k Run will not be timed.
What will participants get:
1) Medal, 2) T Shirt, 3) Forward Initiative Customized Wrist Band
4) Runners’ Water Bottle 5) Forward’s Branded Drawstring Bag
6) Finish Time Result posted online (Only for the 10K Participants)
First, Second and third finishers of each category of The 10k Race will get a trophy.
The Charity
By Participating, you will receive a Forward Initiative Wrist Band to represent your contribution to people in need. We will be cooperating with the Khaironline.com in Kuwait to faciliate the charity.

10k Run Fees:
- Regular Fees: 16 KD
- Late Registration Fees: 18 KD valid from the 10th of February until 15th of February, last day of Registration.
5K Run Fees:
- All time fees 8KD
