The Court of Appeals on May 22, 2018, will look into the case of a Kuwaiti citizen and his wife who was arrested in the Philippines, in addition to four other Kuwaitis and a Syrian, reports Al-Rai daily. The seven are charged with belonging to the terrorist DAESH or the so called Islamic State organization.

It charged the first, second and third suspects of manufacturing explosives and taking photographs of a mosque in Sulaibikhat and a church in Abdali. The first suspect was charged with training the second suspect to manufacture explosives.

He was also charged with forging a Syrian passport with the cooperation of the fourth suspect (the Syrian national) who gave an unknown individual $1,500 for replacing his photograph in his passport with the photograph of the first suspect in order for the latter to use it to move around and join the fight.
