It is not our duty to discipline the wife

When a Kuwaiti went to file a complaint with the police against his wife, the officer in charge pondered over the issue and told the man it was not within the jurisdiction of the police station because according to the officer it was purely a family issue between the husband and his wife, reports Al-Rai daily.

This happened when the complainant wanted the police to force his wife to cook him breakfast meal which she refused to do. The man said he comes home tired from work and the wife refuses to cook him a meal. The police said it was not their duty to discipline his wife
