JOHNY LEVER LIVE
Legendry Johny Lever is an Indian film actor and one of the most noted comedians in Hindi cinema. Lever is one of the first standup comedians in India. Lever has received thirteen Film fare Awards nominations in Filmfare Award for Best Performance in a Comic Role, and has won the award twice, for his works in Deewana Mastana and Dulhe Raja . He began his career in 1984, and has acted in more than Four Hundred Bollywood films.
He did a lot of shows and world tours with Kalyan ji Anand Ji, one of his first big tours being with Amitabh Bachchan in 1982. In 1986, he performed in a charity show called “Hope 86”. His first major success came with Baazigar, and after that he was seen in almost every movie as a supporting actor/comedian. Despite being busy with his movie roles, he continued to do live shows. One of his most memorable live performances was an impersonation of Michael Jackson at the 1999 Filmfare Awards. His most acclaimed performance was the character of “Babulal” in the film, Baazigar, directed by Abbas-Mustan. He is also remembered for some of his other famous characters, like “Chotta Chattri”, “Aslam Bhai”, etc. His performance in the film, Judaai and his famous dialogue in the movie, Abba Dabba Jabba are also unforgettable.

In the year 1997, Johnny Lever won the Star Screen Best Comedian Award for his role in ‘Raja Hindustani’. In 1998 and 1999, he grabbed the Filmfare Best Comedian Awards for “Deewana Mastana’ and ‘Dulhe Raja’. In 2002, Johnny Lever won the prestigious Zee Cine Best Actor in a Comic Role Award for his performance in the film ‘Love Ke Liye Kuchh Bhi Karega’.
Johnny is the president of the Cine and T.V Art Association (also known as CINTAA). This house has its own TV show by the name of ‘Superstars ka Jalwa’, aired on Star Plus. Apart from CINTAA, he is also the president of the Mimicry Artist Association Mumbai (also known as MAAM) and has done numerous live shows all around the globe. JAMIE LEVER
Jamie Lever is an Indian stand-up comedian who appeared with ace comedian Kapil Sharma in Bollywood movie “Kis Kis Ko Pyar Karu” which released on 25th September 2015 across theaters.
Jamie is the daughter of infamous Indian comedian and actor Johny lever and Sujata Janumala with a younger brother Jesse. She holds Masters in Marketing Communications from University of Westminster, London. She completed her school and college studies from Jamnabai Narsee School and Jai Hind College (Mumbai, Maharashtra). She initiated her career as a Marketing Executive in August 2012 for an UK based market research agency called “Visiongain” but later shifted to the world of comedy as a standup comedian. When Jamie went on stage for a comedy act in serial “Comedy Circus”, she left audience in splits along with Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi (Star guest of show) and received immense praise for her comic timing. She also bagged a Bollywood movie called “Chahe Koi Mujhe Junglee Kahe” directed by Nasir who is the son of late star actor comedian Johnny Walker.
In a statement given to a leading publication, Johnny said, “I feel very proud as a father when my daughter is being recognized for her talent and hard work. My daughter has studied in London and when she came back, she wanted to be a standup comedian. During one of her stage performances, Abbas-Mustan were so impressed by her work that they said they want my daughter in their next film. She has performed at The Comedy Store, Mumbai from 2012 as a stand-up comedian; she has given performances on Comedy Circus Ke Mahabali on Sony Entertainment Television in 2013.
