KUD in Abu Dhabi for “Red Bull Air Race 2015” @Redbullairrace @redbullkuwait @redbull
Last week, I was honored by Red Bull Kuwait to be an eye witness of one of the world fastest games, of course it would be because it was an Air Race by Red Bull in Abu Dhabi. Abu Dhabi took its Red Bull Air Race hosted to new heights with the destination having much more to see and do than ever before.

Thanks RED BULL for this efficacious experience.
The wawww aerial action again took place over the Arabian Gulf’s sparkling blue waters, the race village finds a new home at a purpose built destination arena on the Corniche breakwater. With unrivalled views of the race and the UAE capital’s impressive skyline, the arena was an entertainment focal point for all the family.
There were also many more options to discover Abu Dhabi away from the race, from the multi-experiential Yas Island, home to the iconic Ferrari World Abu Dhabi and Arabia’s award-winning mega waterpark, Yas Waterworld, to authentic desert experiences, majestic pearl journeys, championship golf courses and unrivalled shopping.
Accommodation options abound with a wealth of world-class hotels and resorts operating across the city, each offering diverse cuisine experiences and with many providing a chic and relaxed setting to watch the world’s top pilots battle it out in the skies above.
What is Red Bull Air Race?
The Red Bull Air Race, established in 2003 and created by Red Bull, is an international series of air races in which competitors have to navigate a challenging obstacle course in the fastest time. Pilots fly individually against the clock and have to complete tight turns through a slalom course consisting of pylons, known as “Air Gates”.
Hitting top speeds of 370 km/h while flying just above the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf, Bonhomme mastered the scorching temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius and the changing winds to take top honors with a time of 57.787 seconds in the first of eight races in 2015 of the world’s fastest motorsport series.
Results: 1. Paul Bonhomme (GBR), 2. Matt Hall (AUS), 3. Pete McLeod (CAN), 4. Hannes Arch (AUT), 5. Nigel Lamb (GBR), 6. Yoshihide Muroya (JPN), 7. Peter Besenyei (HUN), 8. Nicolas Ivanoff (FRA), 9. Matthias Dolderer (GER), 10. Martin Sonka (CZE). 11. Francois Le Vot (FRA), 12. Michael Goulian (USA), 13. Juan Velarde (ESP), 14. Kirby Chambliss (USA)
