The Let’s Go Forward North Desert Run is a 10 km and a 5 km Run
When? 12th of December 2015
Day/Date: Saturday, 12th of December 2015
Location: Mutla’a – Northern desert of Kuwait
Exact location and route will be provided within 30 days of race day
Runs:
- 10 KM Run (Timed)
- 5 KM Run (Timed)
Terrain:
Flat and Soft Sand, Might be some hills and dunes.
Starting Time of Runs:
9:00 AM
Toilets (Available)
Toilets will be available at event base camp
Route:
Exact route will be provided within 30 days before event day.
Check Points CP:
Check points with water stations will be available during the whole route of the event as follows:
CP 1: At Kilometer 1.5
CP2: At Kilometer 2.5 (U-Turn point of the 5K Run)
CP3: At Kilometer 3.5
CP 4: At Kilometer 5 (U-Turn point of the 10k Run)
Runs and Categories:
10 KM Run: Male and Female Category.
5 KM Run: Male and Female Category
Timing System
The run will be timed through a chip attached to your running bib. You will get your race finish time posted on this page within 48 hours after the event.
Running Bib Collection Days
Time, Date, and Location of the running bib days will be provided within 30 days before event day.
During running bib day; You will be required to show an electronic or printed ticket and ID upon the collection of the running bib and the goody bag.
IMPORTANT: YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO COLLECT YOUR RUNNING BIB IN EVENT DAY.
What will participants get:
1) Medal, 2) T Shirt, 3) Forward Initiative North Desert Run Wrist Band
4) Forward’s Drawstring Bag 5) Finish Time Result posted online.
First, Second and third finishers of each category of The 10 KM Run will get a trophy.
Ticket Fees:
10 KM Run Fees: 16 KD
5 KM Run Fees: 8 KD

By Participating in any of the Let’s Go Forward runs, you will receive a Forward Initiative Wrist Band to represent your contribution to people in need. .
During season 1 of the Let’s Go Forward runs which included; the Road Run, North Desert Run, and the Mishref Run, we gathered enough funds to enable us to sponsor 74 children in Zimbabwe. And this year we are aiming to continue and further expand this sponsorship of the children in Zimbabwe and inmore countries. You are already helping by joining one of our races.
