Nepali woman allegedly raped by manager

A Nepali woman working in Kuwait has registered a complaint to the local police office on Tuesday stating that her manager raped her.

In her complaint registered with the assistance of Kuwait-based Nepali Embassy, the 31-year-old woman from Chitwan has said that her manager, raped her on Friday at his residence after she complained about the workplace outfit being short.

“He (manager) said that we were going to the office and took me to his flat and forced himself upon me,” said the victim to the embassy, “I was afraid and couldn’t do anything.”

Nepali Ambassador to Kuwait Yagya Bahadur Hamal said that the embassy has informed the company officials about the matter and urged them look into the matter and take action against the accused.
