New film Airlift starring Akshay Kumar (Indian Actor) is based on true incidents in Kuwait. The concept of the film is inspired by real life incidents of human evacuation in the war prone zones and the director of the film had to recreate Kuwait and Baghdad of 1990.

The film Airlift is about the story of Indians who were stranded in Kuwait during miserable times. About 1, 70,000 Indians were trapped in Kuwait and the film is about how the Indian Government worked to get those Indians back safely to their home. The story is interesting and based on reality which covers the real incident about the biggest evacuation ever in the history of mankind.
