Private schools allowed to increase fees
Minister of Education and Higher Education Dr Muhammad Al-Fares has stressed the importance of the role played by private schools, stressing the increase of educational fees in these schools for academic year 2017/2018 is only three percent and there is no other hike in fees.
Warnings issued for singles in Kuwait
The Public Relations Department of Kuwait Municipality revealed that emergency teams from Farwaniya Municipality carried out a field tour targeting bachelors living in residential houses in Khaitan area and discovered 20 violating buildings. Warnings were issued against the owners of the violating buildings, asking them to evacuate the bachelors.
Not any more jobs for Expats , Kuwait Municipality
The Kuwait Municipality has announced that expatriates will not be hired in future for any of its contracts quoting an official of the Municipality. This is in addition to ending the employment of those expatriates whose services are no longer required by the Municipality and other who have completed their term of contract.
Only ‘six’ agencies named to hire Indian housemaids and should not exceed 400 KD
The head of the Federation of Home Employment Offices, Fadhel Ashkanani, said the offices will begin recruiting Indian maids following a decision by the government of India to do away with the $2,500 bank guarantee that was needed to be deposited with the Indian Embassy for the recruitment of Indian female domestic workers for Kuwait.
