Speeds up deportation of illegal residents
Kuwait is speeding up the process to deport foreign illegal residents, lawbreakers and beggars, security sources have said. “The competent authorities within the Interior Ministry have drawn up the list of all residents wanted in law violation cases in order to arrest them, serve their prison terms if any and then deport them,” the sources told Kuwaiti daily Al Seyassah.
New devices for baggage inspection in Airport

3,375 people arrested
The Director of the Central Inspection Department at the Public Authority for Manpower (PAM), Mohammad Al-Ansari said that the committee which comprises members of the PAM, the Kuwait Municipality and ministries of Commerce, and Interior, have arrested 3,375 workers (violators of residence and labor laws) during field inspections since the beginning of this year, reports Al-Jarida daily.
