MPs Salah Korshid, Majed Al-Mutairi, and Khalil Al-Saleh have called on the concerned authorities to hold to account the Ministry of Public Works for wasting public money which was the result of wrong translation, reports Al-Rai daily.

He noted traffic officers will impound vehicles for a maximum of two months for wrong parking,

From Wednesday, Not anymore plates removing but impounding for two months
Director General of Public Relations and Media Security Brigadier Adel Al-Hashash affirmed that General Traffic Department has suspended the removal of number plates from vehicles parked at “No Parking” zones. He added the policy will be replaced by impounding for two months all vehicles whose drivers do not wear seatbelt or use mobile phones by hands while driving, starting from Wednesday.
