Officers from Farwaniya Security Command arrested 26 Asians for gambling on a pathway in Jleeb Al-Shuyoukh area. Apparently, the suspects had stationed four gambling tables when the officers descended on them and confiscated a huge sum.
Waiter arrested with Gold and Cash of worth 9000 KWD
An Asian expatriate serving as a waiter in Jleeb Shuyoukh police station was arrested for tipping off suspected criminals ahead of security raids to facilitate their escape in exchange for money. He was in possession of gold worth about KD 7,000 in addition to KD 2,000 cash believed to be proceeds from his illicit operation.
No jobs for expats under 30 diploma holders
The Manpower Public Authority (PAM) has issued a decision which will be implemented during 2018 and according to which the recruitment of expats under the age of 30 holding diplomas and above will be stopped, reports Al-Anba daily.
