Planned Power Outages for Maintenance

The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy (MEW) in Kuwait is announcing scheduled maintenance work on secondary substations across the six governorates. This will cause power outages from February 1st to February 8th, 2025.

Affected Areas and Times:

The specific areas and times affected are detailed in the attached schedule (pages 2-8). The outages will occur between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM each day. Each page lists the affected substations for one day and includes the substation number, location, PACI number, block, and area. The following is a list by date, but note that it is not exhaustive as the document contains a significant number of areas:

February 1st, 2025 (Saturday): Kifan, Doha, Salwa, Hawalli, Khaitan, Farwaniya, Abdullah Mubarak Al-Sabah, Jahra, Oyoun.

February 2nd, 2025 (Sunday): Salwa, Al-Siddiq, Khaitan, Sabah Al-Nasser, Jahra, Al-Qurain, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel.

February 3rd, 2025 (Monday): Rumaithiya, Al-Siddiq, Khaitan, Sabah Al-Nasser, Saad Al-Abdulla, Nasseem, Al-Qurain, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel, Kifan, Sabah Health Region.

February 4th, 2025 (Tuesday): Salmiya, Al-Siddiq, Yarmouk, Sabah Al-Nasser, Saad Al-Abdulla, Nasseem, Al-Qusour, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel, Daiya, Sabah Health Region.

February 5th, 2025 (Wednesday): Al-Siddiq, Yarmouk, Sabah Al-Nasser, Jahra, Saad Al-Abdulla, Al-Qurain, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel, Daiya, Sabah Health Region.

February 6th, 2025 (Thursday): Al-Siddiq, Yarmouk, Sabah Al-Nasser, Saad Al-Abdulla, Al-Qurain, Sabah Al-Salem, Mahboula, Sabah Al-Ahmad, Fahaheel, Qadsiya, Riggai.

February 7th, 2025 (Friday): Jahra, Qadsiya, Sabah Health Region.

February 8th, 2025 (Saturday): Dasma, Sabah Health Region.

The MEW states that the maintenance schedule is subject to change depending on the nature and conditions of the work. The ministry thanks its customers for their cooperation during these power outage periods.
