Steps taken to deport expat inmates
Head of the panel in charge of dealing with the overcrowding of prisons and correctional facilities Judge Mohammad Al- Duaij revealed that the panel has issued a set of actions for reducing the number of inmates in the prisons and correctional facilities to match the capacity, reports Al-Rai daily. He explained that the capacity of the Central Prison is 3,000 prisoners.
Speeds up deportation of illegal residents
Kuwait is speeding up the process to deport foreign illegal residents, lawbreakers and beggars, security sources have said. “The competent authorities within the Interior Ministry have drawn up the list of all residents wanted in law violation cases in order to arrest them, serve their prison terms if any and then deport them,” the sources told Kuwaiti daily Al Seyassah.
Deportee will be deport again
The Ahmadi police have arrested a 44-year-old citizen of Congo for infiltrating into the country who had earlier been deported from the country. The man was reportedly picked up on suspicion while walking along a road. He has been referred for deportation.
50 Syrians escape deportation
