From Wednesday, Not anymore plates removing but impounding for two months
Director General of Public Relations and Media Security Brigadier Adel Al-Hashash affirmed that General Traffic Department has suspended the removal of number plates from vehicles parked at “No Parking” zones. He added the policy will be replaced by impounding for two months all vehicles whose drivers do not wear seatbelt or use mobile phones by hands while driving, starting from Wednesday.

The Kuwait Municipality has warned against the throwing of cigarette butts while traveling by car, on sidewalks, in parks and public places, reports Al-Rai daily. The daily added, those caught will have to pay KD 200 fine.
