The remains of a Filipina were found inside a freezer at an apartment in Al-Shaab area. The body, believed to have been kept inside the freezer for over one year, was uncovered shortly after the Filipino government suspended the recruitment of workers to Kuwait amid threats of withdrawing those who are currently working in the country.

Court issued death sentence against a Kuwaiti woman and her friend
The Criminal Court has issued death sentence against a Kuwaiti woman and her friend who are convicted of the murder of her daughter. Lawyer Ali Al-Ali, who is representing the father of the victim, said in a press release that the verdict should serve as a deterrent to anyone without a conscience and intends to commit such crimes.
