WINTER WONDERLAND KUWAIT PARK

Winter Wonderland Kuwait is set to launch on December 1, 2022, the Touristic Enterprises Company announced.

The event has 28 rides for visitors of all ages, in addition to various activities and a theater with a capacity for 1,200 people, it added. Shaab Park, which is currently not in use, was selected as the location for Winter Wonderland Kuwait because it has the infrastructure needed for such an event.

About the selection of the site, TEC Chairman Mohammad Al-Saqqaf said Shaab Park is ready to host Winter Wonderland Kuwait after instructions were issued to speed up development and entertainment projects that benefit the people. Saqqaf said Winter Wonderland Kuwait is the result of fruitful work by a team entrusted by Finance Minister Abdlwahab Al-Rushaid to do so.

The team, which includes Fadhel Al-Dousary and Noura Al-Qabandi, found the best means to build an entertainment facility and seek an international company specialized in entertainment to launch the first edition of this project, which was executed quickly in cooperation with TEC and concerned authorities. When the project is complete, it will set a precedent in executing entertainment projects, as the time it took to complete is less than four months.
