22,000 expats deported
As per Arabtimes, About 24,000 expatriate prisoners were sent to the Talha Prison since the beginning of this year until October end, reports Al-Qabas daily. The source added 22,000 of these expatriates have already been deported. Of the remaining 2,000, a total of 700 are still awaiting deportation while the others have been either released on bail or pending settlement of their cases.
