26 more teachers arrested in Kuwait
As per Arabtimes, A campaign organized by the so-called Tripartite Committee to arrest teachers who offer private tuitions in violation of the law has seized 26 teachers from the Hawalli governorate, reports Al- Anba daily.
A security source said most of those who were arrested were charged with violating the labor law. They were given a reprieve from deportation after they signed a pledge not to repeat the offence. According to an eyewitness the arrests were made when the teachers were found working for a private institute.
Some of them who tried in vain to escape the raid by jumping from the second floor where the institute is located suffered injuries and were taken to a hospital.
