300 internet users attested in Kuwait
Three hundred people accused of having online pornography accounts were arrested in Kuwait this year, Ministry of Interior sources were quoted as saying by Al Qabas newspaper.
Those arrested face between three and five years in jail for “incitement to immorality and debauchery”, while expats also will be deported.
Authorities were attempting to deter pornography site users by placing the ministry logo on websites it had shut down, the source reportedly said.
