4431 Expats arrested in Khaitan and Reggaie , Kuwait
A series of extensive security campaigns were carried out Wednesday in Maidan Hawalli and Reqqaei, resulting in the arrest of 4,431 expatriates and issuance of traffic citations. In a press statement, the Public Relations and Security Media Department revealed that Interior Ministry Undersecretary Lieutenant General Sulaiman Fahad Al- Fahad spearheaded the security campaigns.
which were conducted under the supervision of Assistant Undersecretary for Public Security Affairs Major General Abdul Fattah Ali and Assistant Undersecretary for Operations Major General Jamal Al-Sayegh with the participation of officers from the Security and Supply departments.
According to the department, a total of 4,431 expatriates were nabbed during the campaigns — 317 were referred to the Deportation Center and other security units, 39 were found to be holding expired residency permits, 15 were involved in different cases, 403 failed to present valid identification documents, 28 violated the Labor Law, six were found to be under the influence of alcohol,
one holds an expired visit visa, 17 addicts, four engaged in prostitution, 24 violated the Residency Law, 40 were reported absconding, two involved in drug-related cases and three marginal workers.
