8-year-old pupil in Kuwaiti court for ‘molesting’ teacher
An eight-year-old Kuwaiti school boy is standing trial in Kuwait on charges of molesting his mistress at school although he told the judge he has no idea about the charges.
While the prosecutor demanded a five-year jail term for the child, the judge was shocked when he entered the court house and saw the defendant. Newspapers in Kuwait said the judge tried to reassure the child, who was in a shock in the dock, adding that he told the judge he does not know why he was there.
His teacher accused him of making a paper plane and making it fly straight to her lower back in the school’s play-ground front of other teachers and school boys. Newspapers did not name the child but said that he is a fan of Spain’s Real Madrid Club and that his dream is to become an aviation engineer.
They said the boy lives with his father, who divorced his wife three years ago.
