Heavy Congestion at Kuwait Airport – 122,259 Passengers
Kuwait International Airport is currently experiencing heavy congestion in both arrival and departure zones as most of the people who spent their summer vacation outside the country are returning. The airport personnel are under immense pressure due to the huge number of passengers, reports Al-Anba daily.
irector of Operations at Kuwait International Airport Saleh Al-Foudaghi revealed that more than 122,259 passengers returned to the country between Aug 29 and Sept 2, adding that most of them came from Dubai, Turkey, Egypt, Mashhad, Alexandria, London, Sharm El-Sheikh and Frankfurt. He also revealed that many of the passengers are teachers for the new academic year.
