Kuwait incline to stop issuing work permits
As per Arabtimes , Public Authority for Manpower is inclined to stop issuing work permits because many companies and establishments were granted work permits exceeding the allowed quotas, reports Al-Shahid daily.
The daily quoting sources mentioned the move is expected to curb the growing population of expatriates in the country, contrary to the planning of the State Ministry for Development and Planning in relations to the population structure.
Statistics indicated the work permits issued in various governorate departments show that the number has exceeded expectations, and the permits issued for recruiting manpower from outside exceed the transactions done in relation to renewal and transfer of work permits.
