Runaway Ethiopian maids take to prostitution
As per Arabtimes, A gang of Ethiopians were arrested for inciting domestic workers to escape from their sponsors and earn money by indulging in immoral activities, reports Al- Seyassah daily.
According to security sources, when officers from General Department for Residency Affairs received information about an Ethiopian woman running a prostitution ring with the help of one of her compatriots, a team was immediately formed for investigations.
After the matter was confirmed, the officers took necessary legal documents and raided several apartments. They arrested 12 individuals involved in prostitution and four others who violated the residency law.
They were all referred to the concerned authorities where necessary measures have been taken against them.
