Video – Kuwaiti actor held by moral police in Saudi Arabia
A Kuwaiti actor who was talking to female fans in a shopping mall was arrested by religious police. His arrival at a popular mall in Riyadh was announced on social media. Many female fans were waiting for an opportunity to be photographed with the actor.
However, while Kassar was interacting with the female fans, he was interrupted and taken away by religious police. The YouTube video published by the daily showed a moral police member forcing his way through the crowd and then dragging the actor by his collar out of the mall.
According to Arabic language daily Sada, the actor was taken away in a police car and was charged for breaking the Kingdom’s rules by socialising and photographing with women.
